Our expert catering planners will walk you through every step of the event. From invitations to menus, entertainment, decor and everything in between, My Chef has been throwing the best parties, the hottest events, and the most professional gatherings in South Florida. Our chefs have extensive training and the highest levels of education and certification. Staff dieticians oversee food sourcing and are dedicated to fresh, all-natural ingredients. No tripolyphosphate, always non-GMO and no hormones.
My Chef’s team of managers, servers and other professional event staff have worked over 1000 events in the South Florida area for over 25 years. We handle all the details and we show up, on time, every time. We guarantee professionalism on all levels. When your event is hosted by My Chef, you can rest assured that your food will be fresh. We source our ingredients for your event the same week. Any refrigerated items are secured as late as possible depending on your menu. We will not store your food in a hotbox, cooler or warming oven. And your food will be cooked during the event, not hours before.
The world is educated, and as such, people demand healthy food alternatives. My Chef always sources non-GMO meats, fruits and vegetables. We only use ALL-NATURAL ingredients. Even though your party may be a one-time event, we treat our responsibility to feed people seriously. We are not interested in getting things over with for profit. Our goal is to build succesful relationships for a successful business. And that means doing things right, and nothing is more important in serving food than health.
Our chefs are highly educated, trained and certified. Executive Chef A.J. Maggio has been practicing in South Florida for over 15 years among the elite chefs of the region. His creations are the newest, most progressive and unique that can be found. Under his leadership, My Chef is constantly serving delightful surprises that steal the show. James Gianos is a veteran caterer having served thousands over his 20 year career in South Florida. Mr Gianos is a third generation restaurateur and has executed all phases of catering and ownership through his successful ventures. His current offerings include restaurants such as Clipper Cafe at Joe Dimaggio Children’s Hospital in Hollywood, Florida, as well as daily catering for Corporations in the Tri-County Area. James hosts multiple weddings and other family celebrations as well as coordinates major corporate events. Mr. Gianos attended University of Tampa where he studied Marketing and currently lives in Coral Springs, Florida with his wife and 2 children.
Originally from Puerto Rico, Richard attended the University of Dayton where he studied physical therapy and realized his passion for food and diet. Relocating to South Florida, Richard worked in many of Fort Lauderdale’s fine restaurants. Working his way up from a line Cook in 4 years, Richard eventually became head chef at Yolo, one of South Florida’s most celebrated restaurants. Richard decided to pursue his ultimate goals of diet and nutrition by starting an executive chef service. The connections forged from this business led Richard to the MyChef team. Richard’s talent and creativity is a large part of the MyChef brand.
